¡Hola! Regresando a estar más activa en el blog, quiero compartirles 5 de mis películas favoritas de todos los tiempos y que recomiendo totalmente para una buena dosis de inspiración!
Por alguna u otra razón estas películas se han convertido en una fuente de inspiración en mi vida. Puede que parezcan un poco superficiales pero de cierta forma me han ayudado en momentos de falta de motivación o inspiración para cosas relacionadas con el trabajo o hasta hechos cotidianos de la vida.
1. Breakfast At Tiffany's. Esta es sin duda mi película favorita de todos los tiempos, es esa que puedo ver cientos de veces y nunca aburrirme. Audrey Hepburn además de ser un gran icono del cine, es de igual manera uno en el mundo de la moda. Realmente no me identifico mucho con la historia de Holly Golightly, aunque en cuanto a su personalidad, creo que muchas personas a veces hemos pasado por ese miedo al amor o a confiar en las demás personas, y por eso nos cerramos un poco en nuestro propio mundo, huimos y nos refugiamos en la soledad y cuando alguien llega a decirnos lo que ya sabemos, aún así sentimos esa cachetada que nos despierta a la realidad. Además de eso, es claro que el mundo de la moda está muy presente en la película, digo, diamantes, Tiffany's, y sin olvidar el hermoso outfit famoso de Holly en el "opening" de la pelicula, vistiendo un vestido negro de Givenchy.
1. Breakfast At Tiffany's. This is without a doubt my favorite movie of all time, it is the one that I can see hundreds of times and never get bored. Audrey Hepburn, besides being a great icon of cinema, is likewise one in the world of fashion. I really do not identify much with the story of Holly Golightly, although in terms of her personality, I think that many people have sometimes gone through that fear of love or trust in other people, and that is why we lock ourselves in our own world , we run away and take refuge in solitude and when someone comes to tell us what we already know, we still feel that slap that wakes us back to reality. On top of that, it is clear that the fashion world is very present in the film, I mean, diamonds, Tiffany's, and don't forget about Holly's beautiful outfit in the "opening" of the movie, wearing a black Givenchy dress.
2. Funny Face & Roman Holiday. Ok, si soy super fan de Audrey y sinceramente no puedo dejar fuera de mi lista estas dos películas de ella, por eso las pondré juntas. Funny Face es otra película relacionada con el mundo de la moda (queda claro que tipo de peliculas verán en este post, ¿cierto?), es la historia de una chica que trabaja en una librería y es descubierta por un fotógrafo de una revista de moda que busca una modelo y encuentra en ella un gran potencial, entre escenas de cambio look, hermosos vestuarios y escenarios que te dejan sin aliento son lo que hace de esta película una de mis favoritas. No es porque yo sea una fotógrafa de moda y sea la directora de una revista, lo juro! Pasando a platicar un poco de "Roman Holiday", pues lo único que debo mencionar es que, trata de una princesa! es verdaderamente una cinta muy divertida, muestra las aventuras de una princesa que escapa temporalmente de sus deberes de realeza.
2. Funny Face & Roman Holiday. Ok, I'm a super fan of Audrey and I honestly can't leave these two films of her off my list, that's why I'll put them together. Funny Face is another film related to the world of fashion (it is clear what kind of movies you will see in this post, right?), Is the story of a girl who works in a bookstore and is discovered by a photographer from a fashion magazine that looks for a model, and finds in her a great potential. Between scenes of makeover, beautiful costumes and scenarios that leave you breathless are what makes this movie one of my favorites. It's not because I am a fashion photographer and I'm the editor in chief of a magazine, I swear! Moving on to talk a little about "Roman Holiday", the only thing I should mention is that, it's a princess! It is truly a very funny movie, it shows the adventures of a princess who temporarily escapes her royalty duties.

3. The Devil Wears Prada. Una película totalmente relacionada con la industria de la moda. Hay varias razones por la que se encuentra en mi lista, en el reparto se encuentra Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, y Emily Blunt, actrices super talentosas y que me fascinan! Cuando salió esta cinta yo era muy pequeña para comprender tantas cosas, yo estaba en preparatoria o entrando a mis primeros años de universidad si no mal recuerdo, y no causó ningún impacto trascendental en mi vida, pero, ahora que he vuelto a ver esta película siendo ya una "adulta", sin duda pude sentirme más identificada en varios aspectos relacionadas con el mundo laboral. Primero tenemos a Andy, una chica que aspira a ser periodista y ser publicada en The New Yorker o Vanity Fair, pero para poder cumplir su sueño deberá esforzarse y trabajar temporalmente en un trabajo nada relacionado con su pasión para que eventualmente las puertas se le abran. En segundo lugar tenemos a Emily, una chica que ama trabajar en la revista a pesar de los infortunios y estrés que pudiera causarle, como en todo trabajo, hay momento de estrés pero si realmente te gusta tu trabajo ese pequeño altibajo pasará todo valdrá la pena. Y por último, tenemos a Miranda Priestly, la editora en jefe de la revista "Runway" y quien le pondrá todo tipo de obstáculos a Andy, que a pesar de en ocasiones ser un poco exagerados, ayudan a Andy a explorar territorios desconocidos y experiencias que le hicieron dar un 110% para triunfar y que al final la ayudaron a moldear un carácter más fuerte. Creo que yo he pasado por los tres papeles y es por eso que cada que necesito un poco de motivación, no vacilo en sentarme a verla de nuevo.

I think I have gone through all three roles and that is why every time I need a little motivation, I don't hesitate to sit down and watch it again.

4. The Intern. Otra película que siempre me ha motivado a continuar con mi pasión! En esta peli, tenemos dos casos diferentes, en primer lugar tenemos a Robert de Niro en el papel de Ben Whittaker, un hombre de 70 años jubilado que después de pasar un periodo sin trabajar ni tener pasatiempos que lo hagan sentirse pleno, decide ser pasante en una pequeña empresa de e-commerce en donde se vuelve un elemento indispensable para todos, además de apoyar a sus compañeros de trabajo y ser un gran amigo de Jules, nuestro segundo personaje. Si algo aprendimos de Ben es que nunca es demasiado tarde para hacer algo nuevo!
Siempre admiré mucho a Jules (sé que es una película who cares?!) por que ella creó un pequeño imperio después de estar escribiendo en su cocina acerca de ropa y haciendo reseñas honestas para ayudar así a otras mujeres, gracias a esto creo una e-commerce llamada "About the fit" que se preocupa por las necesidades de las mujeres en cuando a las prendas se refiere. Esto me ha inspirado a seguir trabajando en lo que creo y me apasiona y si el algún día el éxito llama a la puerta será bienvenido, sin embargo, en mi experiencia, trabajar en algo que te apasiona es la clave de la felicidad.
Como aclaración, debo confesar que no soy muy fan del final y ya de un tiempo para acá paro la pelicula en ese momento, pero eso queda abierto a gustos personales.
4. The Intern. Another movie that has always motivated me to continue my passion! In this movie, we have two different cases, first of all we have Robert de Niro in the role of Ben Whittaker, a retired 70-year-old man who after spending a period without working or having hobbies that make him feel full, decides to be an intern in a small e-commerce company where he becomes an indispensable element for everyone, in addition to supporting his coworkers and being a great friend of Jules, our second character. I always admired Jules a lot (I know it's a movie who cares?) Because she created a small empire after writing in her kitchen about clothes and making honest reviews to help other women, and thanks to this she created an e -commerce called "About the fit" that cares about the needs of women when it comes to clothing. This has inspired me to continue working on what I believe and I am passionate about and if one day success knocks on the door is welcome, however, in my experience, working on something you are passionate about is the key to happiness.
As a clarification, I must confess that I am not a fan of the end but that is open to personal tastes.

5. Coco Avant Chanel. Todos conocemos la marca de lujo Chanel y la persona que estuvo detrás de la creación de esta, Grabielle Chanel, o también conocida por su apodo "Coco Chanel". Si algo aprendí de esta talentosa mujer es que no importa de donde vengas, siempre puedes lograr lo que te propongas, sin importar si tienes que romper con esquemas impuestos por la sociedad. Ella era una mujer realmente fuerte y apasionada y sin esta característica no hubiera logrado la creación de su gran imperio. Ella comenzó creando sombreros, y bueno, al ser yo una mujer emprendedora con un negocio de sombreros, es toda una inspiración saber que todos comenzamos con algo, por más pequeño que sea. Fue una mujer innovadora y revolucionaría, tanto que logro ser una gran influyente en la industria de la moda, ella si que era una "influencer". Y bueno, gracias a su perseverancia y a su proactividad, sin importar la edad, ella siguió trabajando hasta el último día de su vida...hablando de pasión.
5. Coco Avant Chanel. We all know the luxury brand Chanel and the person who was behind the creation of this, Grabielle Chanel, or also known by its nickname "Coco Chanel". If something I learned from this talented woman is that no matter where you come from, you can always achieve what you set out to, regardless of whether you have to break with schemes imposed by society. She was a really strong and passionate woman and without this characteristic she would not have succeeded in creating her great empire. She started creating hats, and well, being an enterprising woman with a hat business, it's an inspiration to know that we all start with something, however small. She was an innovative and revolutionary woman, so much that she managed to be a great influencer in the fashion industry, she was a really influencer. And well, thanks to her perseverance and proactivity, regardless of age, she continued working until the last day of her life ... talking about passion.
