Hola! Hoy les quiero compartir una de las exposiciones que tanto tenia ganas de visitar. Hace unas semanas me tomé unos días para ir a pasear a la CDMX, visitar a mi bff, ponernos al día (nuestras pláticas siempre son interminables), y aprovechar el tiempo para hacer actividades juntas.
Como es costumbre, dedicamos un día para ir a museos, ambas siempre hemos sido fan de la industria de la moda y realmente queríamos ir a la exposición de Vogue like painting juntas. Esta exposición se encuentra en el Museo Franz Mayer, y el último día que estará es el 15 de septiembre de 2019, para que vayan y aprovechen, totalmente recomendada!
A lo mejor con tantas fotos que voy a mostrarles, les estoy haciendo un gran "spoiler", pero créanme que no hay comparación con ver las obras en vivo, realmente me dejó sin palabras. Estar ahí me llenó de inspiración y motivación para continuar por este camino de la fotografía.
Vogue like painting, explora la relación entre la fotografía de moda y la pintura a través de una selección de más de 60 imágenes del archivo fotográfico de la revista Vogue, y sinceramente, poder contemplar obras de Patrick Demarchelier o de Tim Walker fue realmente impresionante para mi.
Hi there! Today I want to share with you one of the exhibitions that I really wanted to visit. A few weeks ago I took a few days off to go for a mini trip to Mexico City, visit my bff, catch up (our talks are always endless), and take the time to do activities together.
As usual, we spent a day going to museums, we have always been a fan of the fashion industry and we really wanted to go to the Vogue like painting exhibition together. This exhibition is in the Franz Mayer Museum, and the last day to go will be next September 15, 2019, so if you're there you should totally go, totally recommended!
Maybe with so many photos that I am going to show you, I am doing a great spoiler, but believe me there is no comparison with seeing the works live, it really left me speechless. Being there filled me with inspiration and motivation to continue on this path of photography.
Vogue like painting, explores the relationship between fashion photography and painting through a selection of more than 60 images from the photographic archive of Vogue magazine, and sincerely, being able to contemplate works by Patrick Demarchelier or Tim Walker was really impressive for me.
