Hola! Cómo están? Ya por fin les comparto el recap de mi año. Aquí es donde agradezco tener un blog, por que me permite viajar en el tiempo y poder volver a echarle un vistazo a mi año. Espero que no esté tan largo, así que vamos a empezar!
Al comienzo del año compartí muchos looks, y me prepare para compartirles ideas de outfits para San Valentin en colaboración con una de mis tiendas consentidas, Shein. No solo les compartí ideas de looks, sino que en ese periodo hice mi primera fotografía tipo beauty! Salí de mi zona de comfort de solo uso de luz natural y les compartí algunas ideas de maquillaje para el 14 de febrero. En este momento mi retoque en fotografía subió de nivel.
Hello! How are you? I finally share the recap of my year. This is where I appreciate having a blog, because it allows me to travel through time and be able to take a look at my year. I hope it's not that long, so let's start!
At the beginning of the year I shared many looks, and I prepared to share ideas for outfits for San Valentin in collaboration with one of my favorite stores, Shein. Not only did I share ideas of looks, but in that period I made my first beauty-type photograph! I left my comfort zone of just using natural light and I shared some makeup ideas for February 14. At this moment my retouching in photography went up in level.
Uno de mis propósitos para el 2017, fue aprender a balancear mi trabajo y el blog, así que empecé a dedicarme mucho al blog y a mi trabajo de fotografía, empecé a compartir un poco más de mi vida diaria, como el post de mi rutina del día o algunos donde hablo de temas más personales.
One of my purposes for 2017, was to learn to balance my work and the blog, so I started to dedicate myself a lot to the blog and my photography work, I began to share a little more of my daily life, as the post of my routine of the day or some where I talk about more personal issues.
Por segundo año consecutivo fui fotógrafa acreditada para el Festival Internacional de Cine de Guadalajara. Nuevamente asistí a eventos, funciones de cine, alfombras rojas y pude volver a pasear por las hermosas calles de esta ciudad, esta vez en compañía de mi cámara análoga.
For the second year in a row, I was an accredited photographer for the Guadalajara International Film Festival. Again I attended events, film shows, red carpets and I could go back to walk through the beautiful streets of this city, this time in the company of my analog camera.
Nuevamente tuve la fortuna de ser entrevistada por mi trabajo. Para mi no hay mayor alegría que saber que hay personas que gustan y admiran mi trabajo. Cada día de mi vida me esfuerzo por ser mejor y entregar lo mejor de mi, no solo en mi trabajo sino en mi vida personal.
Again I had the fortune of being interviewed for my work. For me there is no greater joy than knowing that there are people who like and admire my work. Every day of my life I strive to be better and deliver the best of myself, not only in my work but in my personal life.
Como siempre, en mi cumpleaños y en otras ocasiones adquiero muchas cosas super bonitas, por eso les estuve compartiendo algunos de mis favoritos
As always, on my birthday and on other occasions I got many super nice things, that's why I was sharing some of my favorites on some posts.
En este periodo, después de mi cumpleaños fue cuando comencé a ponerme las pilas para organizar mi primer taller de foto básica, en el que quería enseñar a otras personas que sienten la misma pasión por este arte y compartirles un poco de mis conocimientos, por que debo admitir que hasta la fecha sigo aprendiendo.
En este momento, y después de comenzar a impartir talleres, me di cuenta de que me encanta enseñar a otras personas, que me causa una sensación muy bonita cuando salen de mi curso con aún más ganas por tomar fotos! En este año impartí 6 talleres en total. 4 de ellos fueron básicos, 1 avanzado de desarrollo de concepto y editorial, 1 avanzado enfocado a beauty y moda, y de estos talleres uno fue en la ciudad de Monterrey.
In this period, after my birthday it was when I started to organize my first basic photo workshop, in which I wanted to teach other people who feel the same passion for this art and share a bit of my knowledge, because I must admit that until the date I'm still learning.
At this time, and after starting to give workshops, I realized that I love teaching other people, that it causes me a very nice feeling when they leave my course with even more desire to take pictures! In this year I gave 6 workshops in total. 4 of them were basic, 1 advanced concept development and editorial, 1 advanced focused on beauty and fashion, and one of these workshops was in the city of Monterrey.
Una de las cosas más geniales fue que tuve muchas colaboraciones en el año, tanto por el blog como en mi trabajo. Ya desde hace tiempo que colaboro con marcas internacionales, pero creo que este año ha sido el mejor en cuanto a colaboraciones. Por el momento, estoy trabajando con la marca Hawkers, y ha sido una gran experiencia y he tenido una enorme proyección de mi trabajo.
One of the coolest things was that I had many collaborations in the year, both in the blog and in my work. I have been collaborating with international brands for a long time, but I think this year has been the best in terms of collaborations. At the moment, I am working with the Hawkers brand, and it has been a great experience and I had a huge projection of my work.
Una de las experiencias más geniales de este año fue sin duda, mi asistencia a los eventos de Canon Zoom In, en la ciudad de monterrey y en la ciudad de México. Por primera vez, viaje sola, y me la pase genial!
One of the most great experiences of this year was without a doubt, my attendance at the events of Canon Zoom In, in the city of Monterrey and in Mexico City. For the first time, I travel alone, and I have a great time!
El blog cumplió 5 años!! / The blog turned 5 years old!
Y después de tener el cabello largo por mucho tiempo, me decidí a cortarme el cabello y usarlo corto! / And after having long hair for a long time, I decided to cut my hair and use it short!
Al final, de verdad soy muy agradecida con experiencias y momentos que viví en este año, con personas que conocí y espero que este año sea uno mejor. Me esforzaré y no dejaré de buscar lo que me apasiona y me hace feliz, y espero que ustedes también tengan un gran año! / In the end, I really am very grateful with experiences and moments that I lived in this year, with people I met and I hope that this year is a better one. I will make an effort and I will not stop looking for what fascinates me and makes me happy and I hope you also have a great year!
