Hola! Bonito inicio de semana! Estoy muy feliz de poder compartirles un poquito de mi experiencia en el evento de Canon Zoom In en la ciudad de México!
Como algunos ya saben, tuve la oportunidad de asistir al evento que se realizó en la ciudad de monterrey, hace ya algunas semanas, fue una gran experiencia y cuando me enteré del evento en la CDMX no dudé ni un segundo en que tenía que asistir!
El evento estuvo lleno de actividades y conferencias todo el día, dentro de las instalaciones de la Universidad Panoamericana. Tuve la fortuna de conseguir lugar dentro de las conferencias de Lindsay Adler y del cineasta Alfonso Cuarón!
Desde ya hace algunos años sigo el trabajo de Lindsay Adler y de hecho he tomado algunos de sus cursos en linea, así que cuando me enteré que ella daría una de las conferencias hice todo lo posible por conseguir un lugar. Tengo la fortuna de ser socia en Canon, lo cual me dio una gran ventaja para entrar a las conferencias y estar sentada en las primeras filas. Además, me armé de valor para acercarme a platicar con ella, que revisara un poco de mi portafolio y me diera algunos consejos.
El invitado especial fue nada más y nada menos que el cineasta Alfonso Cuarón, de verdad que tuve suerte de conseguir lugar en su conferencia y fue todo un privilegio, ya que el registro para obtener boletos se acabó en menos de 5 minutos! Y fui de las afortunadas! Después de eso supe que tenía que asistir sin excusa alguna.
Hello! Happy start of the week! I'm very happy to share a little bit of my experience at the Canon Zoom In event in Mexico City!
As some already know, I had the opportunity to attend the event that was held in the city of Monterrey, a few weeks ago, it was a great experience and when I heard about the event at the CDMX I didn't hesitate for a second to attend!
The event was full of activities and conferences all day, within the facilities of the Universidad Panoamericana. I was so lucky to get a place in the conferences of Lindsay Adler and filmmaker Alfonso Cuaron!
Since a few years ago I have been following Lindsay Adler's work and in fact, I have taken some of their courses online, so when I knew she would give one of the conferences I did everything possible to get a place. I am fortunate to be a member in Canon, which gave me a great advantage to enter the conference and sitting in the front rows. Also I got the courage to get close and talk with her, get some portfolio review and got some advice from the master.
The special guest was nothing less than the filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón, I really was lucky to get a place in his conference and it was a privilege, since the registration to get tickets was over in less than 5 minutes! And I was one of the lucky ones! After that I knew I had to go without any excuse.
Todo el evento fue gratuito, se pudo encontrar desde spots con diferentes técnicas de fotografía, conferencias con otros fotógrafos increíbles (en donde no necesitabas estar registrado), hasta clases de fotografía de comida, de producto, entre otros. Además podías llevar una de tus fotos favoritas para imprimir, gratis!
The whole event was free, you could find spots with different photography techniques, conferences with other incredible photographers (where you didn't need to be registered), food photography, product classes, among others. You could also take one of your favorite photos to print, for free!
Sin duda, ha sido una de las experiencias más increíbles en mi vida, disfruté mucho este evento y espero que les guste el vídeo que hice con algunos clips que pude grabar.
