Podemos despedir oficialmente el año 2016! Como cada año, este tuvo momentos importantes, tristes y felices para cada persona. Pero la verdad es que no quiero entrar en asuntos tristes o estresantes que pasaron en el mundo y de los cuales todos tenemos conocimiento. Quiero enfocarme en lo bueno y lo bonito, quiero compartir con ustedes alguno de mis momentos favoritos y felices, claro que tuve muchos pero hice una pequeña y rápida recapitulación.
Les escribo esto mientras mi familia prepara todo para la cena y se alistan para la fiesta de Año Nuevo (en unos minutos me toca entrar a la cocina a ayudar por supuesto). Espero que la estén pasando de maravilla acompañados de sus seres queridos.
We can officially say goodbye to 2016! Like every year it had very important moments, sad moments, and happy one's for everyone. But I don't want to get into sadness or stressful worldwide momentas that we all know, I want to focus on the good, and I want to share with you all my happy moments, of course I had so many, but I had to make a quick recap.

Al inicio del año tuvimos un poco de nieve en la ciudad donde vivo, claro que solo duró un par de días, pero usualmente nunca cae nieve, así que fue una linda manera de comenzar el año.
At the beginning of the year we had a little snow in the city where I live, of course it only lasted a couple of days, but it usually never snow, so it was a lovely way to start the year.
Tuve la oportunidad de asistir como fotógrafa al Festival Internacional de cine en Guadalajara en su edición 31. Fue una de las experiencias más locas. yo soy fotógrafa de moda y retrato así que fue algo muy diferente a lo que normalmente hago, pero fue muy divertido. Tuve lasoportunidad de conocer a muchas personas, y de fotografiar directores, actores y actrices nacionales e internacionales. Fue muy cool! Además que si tuve un tiempo para poder pasearme por los alrededores.
I had the opportunity to attend the FICG 31 (Guadalajara International Film Festival 31 edition) as a photographer. It was like the craziest experience ever, I'm a fashion and portrait photographer so this was so different of what I normally do, but it was fun, I get to know a lot of people and got the chance to photograph directors, actors and actresses, etc. It was really cool! Plus I had time to walk around and take photos of cute places

Cuando regresé a mi ciudad me enteré de que estaba en un periódico de la ciudad, había una nota sobre mí y por supuesto me sentí agradecido, fue una sorpresa muy agradable!
When I got back to my city I found out that I was at my city's newspaper, there was a article about me and my blog and of course I felt grateful, it was a really nice surprise!

I didn't visited Monterrey city like last year, but I went a few times and hopefully I will do it more often next year. And I went to San Luis Potosi for a few days with my family, totally fell in love with the city, my Dad was born there so it's a special city to me, can't wait to go again

Alguien me invitó a Viesca, Coahuila, donde, por segundo año consecutivo se llevo a cabo la Procesión del silencio, que para ser honesta no sabía nada al respecto, así que hice una pequeña investigación y encontré que era un evento en el cual se conmemora la pasión y muerte de cristo, y la virgen de la soledad y se llama así por que efectivamente, mientras todo esto sucede no se habla y el único sonido que se escucha es el de los tambores y el de los pasos de las personas sobre el asfalto.
El evento más importante en México es el que se realiza en San Luis Potosí, y de hecho es patrimonio cultural de ese estado. Y por lo que me han comentado, este acontecimiento también se realiza en España, en Sevilla para ser más precisa.
Someone invited me to Viesca in Coahuila, Mx.
