Hola, hola! Bonito inicio de semana! Hoy les tengo un book review de un libro que compre en la Feria del Libro de Arteaga, ya hace unos meses. Lo encontré por pura casualidad, pero que bonita casualidad, por que soy super fan de Audrey Hepburn y tenía que tenerlo!
Hello Hello! wishing you a nice start of the week! Today I have a book review of a book that I bougth at the International Book Fair Arteaga a few months ago. I found it by accident, but nice coincidence because I'm super fan of Audrey Hepburn and had to have it!
This book was made by Michael Heatley, and is about the life of Audrey, her beginnings in acting, her films, how she became a fashion icon with that elegance and of course, her awards and participation at UNICEF and a bonus disc with outstanding songs from her movies!
Una de las cosas que más me gusta de este libro, son las fotografías! Como fotografa es algo que en serio me fascina ver, y aún más si son fotografías en blanco y negro o tan emblemáticas como las fotos de Audrey en Breakfast at Tiffany's (mi pelicula favorita), Funny Face o Charade.
One of the things I like about this book are the pictures! As a photographer it is something that fascinates me like, seriously look at it and even more if are black and white photographs or as emblematic as the pictures of Audrey in Breakfast at Tiffany's (my favorite movie), Funny Face and Charade.

Y gracias a este libro he descubierto algunas que no he visto y en las que no tenía idea que participaba, como Robin & Marian junto con Sean Connery, mejor conocido como James Bond. Así que esa película ya está en mi lista de pelis por ver.

And thanks to this book I discovered some movies I haven't watch yet and that had no idea who participated, as Robin & Marian with Sean Connery, best known as James Bond. So this movie is already on my list of movies to watch.

- Ganó el oscar a mejor actriz en 1953, fue nominada nuevamente por Sabrina en 1955 pero Grace Kelly lo gana por La Angustia de vivir (Grace Kelly es otra de mis idolas)
- El 10 de mayo de 1982 Audrey asiste a la gala de inauguración de "Givenchy 30 años", una retrospectiva en el New York Fashion Institute of Technology
- En 1988 es nombrada embajadora de UNICEF
- El "little black dress" que usó en Breakfast at Tiffany's fue subastado y vendido por 467 200 libras

- He won the Oscar for best actress in 1953, she was nominated again in 1955 for Sabrina, but Grace Kelly won by The Country Girl (Grace Kelly is another of my idols)
- On May 10, 1982 Audrey attends the gala opening of "Givenchy 30 years," a retrospective at the New York Fashion Institute of Technology
- In 1988 she was appointed UNICEF ambassador
- The "little black dress" that wore in Breakfast at Tiffany's was auctioned and sold 467 200 lbs
