Friday...finally!! Are you ready for the weekend? because I know I am. This is the second part of my post from my little trip to Xochimilco. I think it's definitely a must visit if you go to Mexico City, it's so colorful and totally Mexican. The day I went, it was very early, because I had a schedule to keep, (so many thing to do and many places to go!) but I bet later on the afternoon is time for "fiesta" around there. There were already "mariachis" and people celebrating in the "trajineras" (boats?), I recommend to go with friends and have some fun.
Plus, you can also sightsee around the place and buy souvenirs and stuff aka in spanish "chácharas" as some people say. Oh! and you have to eat some quesadillas, with "cheese" in blue tortilla that really looks green, but I love them since I was a child, it's something you can't miss on this walk in Xochimilco. And speaking fast about of the look of that day, I think it was perfect, a look in black and white contrasted with this colorful place, and anyways anyone can realize my color palette lately is no colore at all haha.
